BLASTING GLASS BEADS

We produce high end sand-blasting glass beads for surface treatment.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

Sandblasting is a process in which, sand, glass and other abrasive material is blasted at high speed through a machine on to a surface to smoothen it. This is used to remove an existing paint, run or to prepare a surface for a fresh coat of paint. The kind of material used for sandblasting depends on the surface and its difficulty. If a surface is hard, hard mediums are used and if a surface is soft, soft mediums are used for sandblasting. This is important, as using hard mediums to sandblast a soft surface can cause damage to the surface and render it useless. Sandblasting is also used to carve out attractive designs or words on glass and other material.

Sandblasting consists of the 3 different parts:

  1. The abrasive

  2. An Air Compressor

  3. Blaster nozzle

It also consists of a workstation to hold small objectives or glasses which need sandblasting. A container is also present to gather the excessive dust that accumulates as a result of sandblasting.

The glass beads manufactured by Bolten Beads are used extensively as a medium for sandblasting. Be it for road paint, or engineering, our glass beads can be used on any surface to smoothen them and given them a polished and attractive look. Glass beads are recycled up to 30 times. We also provide crushed glass beads made of 100% recycled glass.

Our glass beads are used in multitude of industries such as automobiles, electricals and electronics, food processing, construction and many more.
